Soon as it malfunction, go to get help, send log with your concern. Samsung tech will respond within a few days with some resolve. I will try that. Thanks i will definitely do that so they can see how often this happens!
Pigskin Astronaut. Mine is doing the same. Did you find a solution? What provider do you have? Having the same issue. I just sent support the issue, as mentioned by Comet. I have done a full shut down, cleared the cache to the phone and the message app, factory reset the phone and had their service team flash the phone. Samsung has not given me any more troubleshooting assistance other than they want me to send them my phone without a spare or temp phone.
The support provided by Samsung has been pretty horrible. Both my wife and I have an issue with receiving MMS files from my daughter. This is a real conundrum. I have a note 8. They never download. When Im on my cell carrier network, the files will download.
Please check to see whether the data is enough to send MMS messages. Thank you and have a great day! I could have changed a setting without realizing what it would effect…I am not a TECH kinda girl lmao.
We are sorry to hear that you have issues with MMS messages. Please try out the fixes in this article and see whether it works for you.
I have the same problem. I dont know what i have changed. Did you work it out as this article does not help? Thanks Sue. I am having the same problem. My carrier is thru Verizon. Been a problem for several months now. None of the above fixes my problem. Hi Rhonda! Do you have signal and can you use your device to make calls and texts?
Your email address will not be published. Skip to content. Check your network connection. Free up your messaging space. Remove task-killers. It may be caused by a slow Internet connection, a setting issue, interfering apps, corrupt cache, etc. Fortunately, it can be solved easily.
If you also encounter the issue, follow these solutions below to get rid of it. In many situations, a simple restart can be used to fix some issues.
This is the basic thing you can do. Just press the power button until you see the power menu and choose Reboot or Restart. After your phone restarts, check if you can download MMS. If there is no stable Internet connection on your phone, the issue of MMS messages not downloading will occur. Make sure your mobile data or Wi-Fi on the Android phone is turned on. Then, go to search for something via a browser to check the connectivity.
Sometimes, you are unable to download MMS due to the setting of this feature. To fix the issue, you can try to disable it. This may be because of the limit of the messaging app.
